Congratulations to Nia Norris, a neighborhood scholar in 9th grade, who received the raffle for a $200 reward certificate for finishing the first Maryland on the Move Challenge held at Maryland Day. Nia was one of greater than 30 members who walked over three,000 steps round campus to visit SPH booths at McKeldin Mall, the Health Center, the Animal Sciences constructing, and Byrd Stadium whereas finishing a story about how households stay healthy together. Since strolling so much is an inherent part of Maryland Day attendance, we look forward to more participation in the challenge next yr!
